McGahee could have done more

I've written about Willis McGahee's quietly impressive season a few times. In a year with so many busts at running back, he's outplaying his ADP and is second in the league in rushing, albeit with a cake schedule.

Mike Preston asks a great question about his effort Sunday: Why did McGahee have to leave the game late when he could have being racking up yards?

I own McGahee in one league and thought of selling high before this week. It's nothing I feel like I have to do, but I'm curious what he could be worth. With Pittsburgh, New England, and San Diego left on the schedule, I'd take a deal that netted top-ten value for him.

GO SCREW WILLIS

Keep him he is the only running back to go over 100 yards all year versus the bills! The others gained less that 50. Alot of good running backs 2. Hold onto him because ogden is back and he will get alot more rushing touchdowns versus tough teams! 60 yards and a td is 12 points. Do not be stupid because all the other running backs are sketchy! I know I am hanging tight!

nobody will give you anything. willis is one of the few RBs in the league with 0 chance of winning you a week all by himself.

my buddy has him and Edge and is 2-5. you gotta have some explosion.

He is a quality number 2 back! Not a number 1. It is not 1 guy that made his team 2-5 it is his whole team. I am 5-2 and should be 6-1. As westbrook is my number 1! Westbroo out that week killed me because he averages atleast 12 points and lost by 10! Waiver wire is important and draft! I draft burress as my number 1 reciever as I was criticised alot and curtis as number 3 criticised. Then chambers as number 2 and was told this was a horrible recieving crew. Miller tight end they said he was a bumb! I picked up selvin young off waivers, fred taylor, jennings for green bay. It is what kind of an owner you are that defines your record. Because it is a crap shoot to tell who is going to be awesome. I have not rolled 7's yet.

I'm not sure you'll be able to get a top 10. People really seem to undervalue his consistency. He's a dependable and durable back who fantasy-wise has been about average in the past. His move to Baltimore was a slight improvement in situation but not enough to expect him to continue to be a top 10 RB. I don't expect his numbers to slide much the rest of the season though either. Unless you can get a top 10, I'd hang on to him.
