Henry taking it easy before suspension

Travis Henry owners might have been better off with him suspended the last few weeks. After a fast start with the Broncos, Henry was held to 116 yards combined against the Chargers and Steelers. Sure, the competition was tough. But there was a time that Denver could run through anyone. Those days, already waning, may have ended when the team lost C Tom Nalen for the season.
There are a couple other factors at play here.
1. Denver's weak rush defense is keeping their offense on the field. Denver is 13th in rush attempts-per-game despite a run-heavy approach; Shanahan's teams are usually in the top-five.
2. Henry hasn't caught a pass since Week 2. Selvin Young is a better option on passing downs.
With Henry at less than 100%, don't be surprised if Young gets more involved this week. And with a difficult matchup against the Packers, don't be surprised if Henry has another lame afternoon. I'm going to downgrade him in the rankings after thinking more about it.

On a RB note...
Where are all of the Chris Brown, Dominic Rhodes and Julius Jones homers now??? Remember them?
At different points of the season there has been some 'genius' on here who've hyped each of the abovementioned as a stud or 'sleeper of the year'.
Where you at now boys? I'm sure you won't come out of hiding and face the music although you would be the first begging for attention had you gotten it right.
We know where you're at... at the bottom of your league standings.

you got me.
b/c i called you out, let the witch hunt begin.
by sitting on your high horse and pointing fingers at people said certain things before the season, you're being more obnoxious than the people who said things about chris brown's resurgance.
nobody likes a "told you so."

A contrarion... were you one of them Matt? Hmmmmmm.
I am the FIRST to admit when I'm wrong. And I am the last to get on this board and tout anyone. Much less a bumb like Rhodes or Brown.
My point is simple... if you're gonna get on here and beat some guys drum, be accountable. If he proves you right, great. If he flops, admit you were wrong. That's all.
This tends to be more of a problem with homers. I just like to point out the humor in their resulting hibernation.

Are you moving Travis below Kevin Jones? And, while I be worth owning when and if Travis goes down or will it be a RBBC? My owner could dump me for a WR if that's the case...

I'm a homer and I'd like to hype Shaun Alexander and if that bothers you, I'm sorry

Matt - What you like or do not like is meaningless, quite honestly.
If I get on the board and make some boastful statement about a player (or anything for that matter), I welcome you to come at me. Mind you, you won't find that.
Just expect the same if you do so...
The examples I was referring to did not occur prior to the season. They came up during the season... not that it matters. Bottom line, it was guys getting on the board shooting their mouths off about guys who can't play dead in a cowboy movie.
No one is saying 'I told you so.' To the contrary, I am asking 'why have you gone silent?'
