Thoughts on Texans, Panthers

Got a chance to watch the Shortcuts version of Houston-Carolina this morning. A couple thoughts from the game.
DeAngelo Williams plays more when the team is behind - Williams had ten looks (targets +touches) in the second half, while DeShaun Foster had five. Foster's second lost fumble in as many weeks won't help him stay on the field. Maybe Williams will be a bigger factor when they head to Atlanta this week.
Houston's line plays better - The Texans were stuffed in Week 1 against Kansas City, but Ahman Green had nice holes to run through. If it was a closer game, Green would have put up big totals. Houston's defensive line, especially Amobi Okoye, also had a big game. This group is for real.
Gary Kubiak is smartly saving Green - Green's last carry was with five minutes to go in the third quarter. Kubiak is keeping Green on a limited pitch count. Although it seems unlikely Texans will win in a rout each week.
Delhomme inconsistency - Delhomme didn't play that poorly, but he holds on to the ball too long. That led to unncessary sacks and a fumble.
No Carolina wideout stepping up - Same old story. Keary Colbert got open deep once, but Delhomme underthrew him. Drew Carter got open deep once, but dropped a pass. Carolina is desperate for one of these two to step up. Maybe they'll activate Dwayne Jarrett soon.
Schaub's legs are key - Schaub gets rid of the ball quickly, and he buys time with his feet well when he doesn't. He hit a couple big plays by rolling away from pressure. Schaub is exceeding expectations thus far. He belongs. The lack of weapons will keep him from being a fantasy star, but he's a solid QB2.

Straight-up trade in a standard scoring league - which side would you rather have: Maroney for Bush?

No brainer - Maroney
