The Greatest Pierre in the NFL
I am getting a lot of "Stecker or Leonard?" emails today. The decision isn't close, and I'd take Ron Dayne far before Stecker if he's available. For my thoughts on Leonard, head over to Waiver Wired.
Stecker is a terrific role player, and he's survived countless challenges over the last few years just to keep his roster spot. But he's ultimately a third-down back, and the Saints already have one that makes a few more dollars. Stecker will have a role, but it's not going to be bigger than it was in 2005, when he split the workload with Antowain Smith. Stecker averaged 58 total yards-per-game after Deuce was hurt in '05, and that number should decline.
The Saints have to see what undrafted rookie Pierre Thomas can do. He's not exactly a bruiser, but he made the team over fourth-round pick Antonio Pittman for a reason. It's time to pick Thomas up in deep dynasty leagues, and see if there is room for him in very deep league rosters.
Deuce's injury is great news for depressed Reggie Bush owners. Don't expect to see 20 carries a game, but Bush should ultimately get more touches and touchdowns as a result of McAllister's injury. We'll see if Bush is ready to be a premier NFL running back.

so back to the initial question.....what do you think about leonard?
I picked him up as my RB3 and want to start him in the flex, but something tells me the Rams will have 3 pts at the end of the game

If the Rams start throwing more screens to the RB, then Leonard could have a good day. But no way does STL keep up with Dallas. Still, I think I'll use Brian "The Beast" Leonard in the flex.

Rams WILL score vs Dallas - Dallas will score alot more - but the Rams will get 20. Dallas secondary will struggle in this one.

Roddy White - take the guy who is a starter not the third string RB.

Gregg (or Guys),
I was just proposed Wes Welker for my Reggie Brown by someone in my league. Am I missing something here? Granted, the league doesn't count return yards and only return TDs, but still.
WR1- Wayne
WR2- Branch
WR3- Brown
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
