One more update

On my way out the door to the NFFC draft, with one more draft guide update to mention.

Kevin Jones won't be put on PUP after all (MLive.com reported otherwise earlier this week), an indication Jones could be ready to play by Week 3 or Week 4. He may not be a true primary back until midseason, but this news is worth an extra 15-20 carries. That moves him over DeShaun Foster in our regular rankings, while Tatum Bell is knocked down a couple spots - now below Vernand Morency.

Gregg...

Hurry back. I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts on an eventful day. Primarily, I'm looking forward to what you think about Ryan Grant in Green Bay and who takes over as the #2 in Tony Dungy's backfield with Dorsey being cut.

--Daniel

since Clifton Dawson got cut as well as Dorsey, it's clearly Kenton Keith.

Dox...

As of this exact moment, yes, I understand that Keith is the man. However, with guys like Antonio Pittman, Ciatrick Fason, and Kenneth Darby receiving their walking papers, I'd be surprised if the Colts didn't bring in another back over the next week. Of course, Corey Dillon, and to a lesser extent Ricky Williams (in the remote chance he gets reinstated) are also possibilities...

--Daniel

of course they're going to add someone. but there is no chance that any of those names comes in and immediately takes the #2 spot.

the Colts offense is not one you learn overnight.

Dillon already said he isn't coming back unless he gets to start. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they added any of the 3 young guys you mentioned, but they'll stay #3 , at least for a while.

and i think Ricky will never have a place in Goodell's Good Citizen NFL.

thought about it, and with the Colts' waiver priority, I don't think they'll get a shot at Pittman, and after Darby's strong preseason play, maybe not him either. I think Fason is the most likely to fall to the Colts if they go that route.

but another thought just occurred to me. they could go the Seahawks route and trade a late rounder for another team's RB depth. Mike Bell, anyone?

haha... dox. "thought about it?"
don't you mean, "read some stuff and this is what some other fantasy website says so now i'll go to another blog and post it as my own thought?"

actually, no, this is the only fantasy site i read/post on.

besides PFT. and neither site has mentioned anything about a possible mike bell to the colts trade.

in fact, gregg has already said it is unlikely. it's just speculation, dude. deal with it.
