Norwood

I got a few emails asking why Jerious Norwood is so low on the rankings this week considering Bobby Petrino said he will use him in the offense more.

First of all, I don't trust most of what coaches say about playing time issues. Maybe they mean it at the time, maybe they don't, but a lot can happen on gamedays. The Clinton Portis owners who benched him at the last minute last week know what I mean.

Second, I'm not writing off the Jaguars rush defense after one terrible effort. They will be angry, and ready to take out their aggressions on an overmatched Falcons offense.

I'd guess Norwood sees 15 touches or less. When you are playing with Joey Harrington, it's unlikely that many of those will be in the red zone.

And for those curious, I made the flight thanks to a traffic-free drive and a completely empty airport. Had it the whole time. Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back in the morning. Most of your lineup questions should be answered here.

Great Goal Line stand as usual-one exception Housh is too low - especailly in PPR leagues- he is automatic top 10 every week in PPR leagues. AUTOMATIC.
Ronald Curry's matchup KILLS me this week. He was my boy from day one and he gets the most shutdown pass D in recent memory.
My semi-sleeper this week - Santana Moss - big game coming on MNF.

Nice work making the flight Gregg. I completely understand your plight. Deal with it every day.

Tiering the rankings would solve the flex issue (which I think you used to do anyway). A separate flex ranking would be redundant.

Glad you made the flight, Gregg.

I know you guys have tons on your plate every week, but I think a lot of us would love to see RB/WR flex rankings in the Goal Line Stand (or even just on Season Pass), as well. Sure, the dictum of always using an RB over a WR covers 80% of flex questions, but it's the remaining 20% that are the most interesting.

For instance, I'm in a league that starts 2 RBs and 1 RB/WR. Having lost both Jacobs and Caddy this week, I'm debating whom to start at flex - Derrick Ward, Michael Pittman or Andre Johnson. I'm blowing in the wind here and would love a combo ranking to give me some perspective.

Just my two cents. Keep up the great work!

Oh by the way - agree on Norwood -and John, your question on RB - 1.Brown 2.Lynch 3.Taylor

Nathan - I would definitely go Andre Johnson.

I can't decide who to start for my RB 2, I have ronnie brown, marshawn lynch, and fred taylor. It is a standard scoring format.

I am wondering the same thing as to why you are not pulling the trigger. You are getting the #1QB and a top #15 WR in Boldin. I guess I would need to see your roster and who your remaining RB's would be...
