Defensive battle
When I was talking about this game with people this week, I said no result would surprise me except a defensive struggle. While I'm sure this thing will loosen up, it's Offense 7, Defense 7 through 25 minutes
A nice early reminder that none of us know anything.

This sure doesn't look or feel like two top playoff teams playing. It's disappointing...the first game hype is wearing off quickly. Let's hope for better play in the second half.

Sirius NFL radio guys got this part right and pointed out last week that the Colts have started with low scoring games over the last couple of seasons. They also said that the Saints would want to avoid a shoot out at Indy with Manning. These comments were made with the follow up that fewer offensive series for Indy would increase their Saints chances of winning.
