Crayton Nation

Moving on from last night's festivities, let's look at the next biggest news to break Thursday afternoon: Terry Glenn's knee setback.
Patrick Crayton Nation (of which I am a proud member on multiple teams) should be salivating over Sunday night's start against the weak Giants secondary. Crayton is a consummate underneath receiver who will allow Terrell Owens to go deep more. He should pile up targets without much depth behind him at wideout. I'm moving his ranking into the top-30 for this week, making him a solid WR3 option or better in points-per-reception leagues.
The only question now is how long Glenn is out for. The Cowboys team website initially said that Glenn could miss the season, and the Dallas Morning News hints that it's possible. The team site scrubbed that report, while Glenn gets more tests done. For now, it looks like a couple weeks minimum.
Glenn owners can wait for more news, but he won't be worth holding on to in shallow leagues if the injury takes a month to heal. Crayton, on the other hand, needs to be owned in all leagues. Then put him in your lineup.

And a note to Season Pass subscribers. Chats will start next week. I've been waiting four years to chat on Rotoworld, so I can wait one more week as we work out some kinks in the system.

In a PPR league, do you think this would be enough to start P. Crayton over S. Holmes as a WR3 in Week 1?

Coincidentally, I JUST dropped Drew Bennett to pick up Crayton. It was a no-brainer. Crayton is a lock at WR2 for Dallas, while Bennett is dinged (AGAIN) AND behind Holt and Bruce on the depth chart.

I also just cut Drew Bennett for Crayton. I am on the bandwagon in both of my leagues!

Pick one - Crayton vs. NYG, Calvin Johnson vs. Oak and Berrian vs. SD... tough call.
