Williamson still struggling with drops?

Childress needs some reliable wideouts
Troy Williamson reportedly caught 20,000 balls this offseason to improve his hands, which is great. If it actually translates to practice.
The following report in the Star-Tribune has us a little concerned though.
Receiver Troy Williamson dropped another pass in team drills but to his credit Williamson later came back and made a very nice diving catch. Williamson also stayed after practice to catch passes. It’s clear he is trying not to get discouraged and plans on continuing to work at improving
The use of another indicates he's stil having issues. And this is in practice, when he knows he's not going to get belted. It's great Williamson is now taking his career seriously, but this may be a mental problem more than physical. (And don't tell me about his eye exams). Williamson is a player that needs to prove it during the preseason or he's going to turn into the NFL version of Chuck Knoblauch.

granted, there is reason for concern (is anyone putting much stock in him anyway?), but one dropped pass in practice means jack squat.
there is hardly a reciever in the league that doesn't drop a pass in practice.
chalk this one up to a slow news day in minnesota, and a reason for the vulchers to circle.

i definitely agree, dibble.
the fact that anyone bothered to print the fact that he dropped a pass in practice is ridiculous. i would place a hefty wager that 90% of the receivers in the NFL dropped a pass in practice today.
that said, i still have no faith in troy williamson (my friends from columbia, SC convinced me to draft him as a WR3 last season - only did so in one league, thank god - fortunately for me i was able to snag some colston dude you might've heard of and go on to win)
so i don't really care if he caught 100,000,000 balls this offseason. there's no place for him on my teams. i'd just as soon draft tim couch. i hear he threw 5000 passes this offseason and has a monster year in store.
