The Undraftables
Here's what Saints coach Sean Payton said about his rookie wideout Robert Meachem in today's Baton Rouge Advocate.
"His work ethic is outstanding, he stays after practice and desires to be successful. He sees himself being successful. The thing is getting him back to 100 percent and getting him up to speed with what we are doing ... But he’s been a great worker and he prepares hard and does a good job in the classroom as well.”
Dynasty leaguer owners have to hope Meachem is a slow learner, but it's almost discouraging to hear his lost training camp isn't for lack of trying. Maybe Meachem, who is currently behind David Patten and Lance Moore, just isn't that good.
The article got me thinking about players, like Meachem, that I see on ADP lists but are absolutely undraftable in redraft leagues. Some may seem obvious, but they are on fantasy teams across the country. Here's my list.
Robert Meachem
Chris Henry - third running backs aren't worth it
Michael Bush - Not worth waiting on
Priest Holmes - You're kidding, right?
Reggie Williams - Didn't help much as a starter, definitely won't as a reserve.
Sidney Rice - Raw rookie on poor passing offense
Devin Hester - We've gone over this
Michael Clayton - We'll always have the memories
Nate Burleson - Fourth receiver
David Boston - Too much competition
Tab Perry - Highly unlikely to put up big numbers
Peerless Price - Would make this list every year
Wali Lundy - A long way from his seventh-round ADP last year.
Brodie Croyle - But he gets an upgrade in the players' wives league
Josh McCown - Too much uncertainty
Honorable Mention
Reuben Droughns - He's an in-season drop if he's playing fullback.
Michael Jenkins - Third receiver on poor passing team.
Greg Olsen - Lightweight rookie tight end with competition for snaps.
* One player that should definitely be drafted is Ron Dayne. An activist group called the Great Daynes think he's a top 50 pick.

That's a great list. I got a lot from Reggie Williams last year and traded him before he tanked. A real shame.
Most of these guys were drafted in my 14-team league... thankfully, not by me!

Even in my 14 X 20 league, almost all of these guys are undraftable.

They are all worth nothing in draft! I would say that henry could be a waiver wire pick up though. Lendale white is always injured. Chris brown is suspect and has been injured alot. I think if injury's happen like last season chris henry could have some value! I am keeping an eye on him and there situation in tennessee. Lets be honest they had same runners last season with travis. He wound up pretty good. It could be another henry season in titan land.

If you do find this list helpful in any way, quit playing fantasy football now.

I got Kevin Jones in the 13th round in a 12X15 league. Talk about money in the bank.
