Skinny Posts: Chiefs/Dolphins
I looked at the Kansas City quarterback battle already, but here are some other notes from the Chiefs/Dolphins game. Since Rotoworld loves branding, the game notes will forever more be called "Skinny Posts."
* Trent Green had a better effort and moved the ball. But the Dolphins really focused on short drops and throws to make up for their offensive line. When Green tried to set up deep, he still didn't have much time. You wonder if that will affect Chris Chambers' ability to go deep.
* Cleo Lemon (8/11-52-0-0) also moved the offense early and finds open receivers underneath. But the Dolphins look like they are settling on Green. I have a feeling Miami will need multiple starting quarterbacks this year because of their line.
* The Chiefs are a field goal team. And their rookie kicker Justin Medlock missed two more kicks after a shaky training camp. Kansas City needs to get some competition.
* Ronnie Brown (13-57) reminded me why he's one of the most fun players in the league to watch. He can do everything, run with power and quickness, and has great feet for his size. He just needs to stay healthy and get help from his teammates.
* Jesse Chatman (8-19-0, 5-43-0) is getting a legitimate chance to be Ronnie Brown's backup. Lorenzo Booker was nowhere to be seen.
* TE David Martin dropped an easy pass, but did make a 19-yard catch down the seam. A few of those a week, and he's worth owning in fantasy leagues. He's athletic enough.
* Kolby Smith in two games: 10 carries: 7 yards. It's not the end of the world, but he won't pass Michael Bennett that way.

If the Fins focus on short drops and throws, will this result in more receptions for Ronnie Brown?
Can Brown be a 1,300 yard back in this system?

Craig - its more about him showing very little as a pro yet. He's playing on a slightly better offense, but i think ranking him in the top 15 overall is just fine.
