Michael Turner Overdrive
I got an email today Jeff Schizas wondering where he should draft Michael Turner. He's an Tomlinson owner and is willing to reach a bit for insurance.
Jeff - I agree it's worth reaching if you own Tomlinson. Turner's current ADP is RB41, which puts him late in the ninth round. That means you may have to take him in the eighth/ninth-round turn of your draft, assuming you have the ninth pick. Any earlier than that is reaching too far; let someone else overpay for a player not likely to play much.
Turner's recent ankle injury isn't a huge concern, because he is insurance for the long haul, not just the first two weeks of the season.
I'll be back in a few hours for more ADP analysis

Jeff, I also lucked out and won the LT sweepstakes and was able to grab Turner at the 8/9 turn as suggested above. The key here is to make sure you grab two "good chance to play come the playoffs" guys (ie. Norwood around 4/5) and Gregg's favorite fat man at 6/7 fi available. It also doesn't hurt to scoop up someone like Brian Leonard as a final back just to spite the SJax owner in your league and to use as trade bait should anything happen. Good Luck

I was able to pick up Turner in the 15th (last round in our 12 team league) this past Sunday. I think it was because of the news about his injuries.
