Matt Jones' Light: Still Off

With a week's worth of Fantasy Fix's in the can, I'm staying home in New York more than usual this week and breaking in my new HD DVR. Best use of wedding money possible.
I can never find enough time to watch as much tape as I'd like, but I'm taking some notes from the preseason games that I may post here later. First, a Matt Jones sequence I couldn't pass up. Jones didn't start the game (Ernest Wilford and Dennis Northcutt did), and played exclusively out of the slot.
The first target sent his way from Byron Leftwich was a 25-yard laser that hit Jones right in the chest, but he dropped it. The next target was on a blitz from Miami. Jones was the hot receiver on the play, but didn't realize it. Leftwich hit Jones in the ass.
To Jones' credit, he got wide open again a couple plays later and made a beautiful 19-yard run and catch. He added a 24-yard grab from David Garrard. That's the thing with Matt Jones: He gets open and occasionally looks like he could be the next Andre Johnson. But I continue to hear the consistency and mental part of the game hasn't developed. That doesn't appear to be changing.

Gregg,
Your column has made references to updates to the draft guide including moving Colston ahead of Boldin, however, I have not noticed any changes. Have these changes been implemented into the Draft Guide or am I doing something wrong? Please advise.

Ed I'm not sure what guide you're looking at but check out WR's cheat sheet, or the wide receiver tiers and you'll notice that Colston is listed ahead of Boldin in both.
