Croyle Implodes
Let's look back at the things I wanted to watch in last night's games.
New Orleans vs. Kansas City
* Can Brodie Croyle play smart football? He would have to implode tonight to lose the starting job.
He basically imploded. The protection, running backs, and the receivers reportedly didn't help, but you aren't going to do much worse than one first down in two quarters after the first drive. This offense really could be ugly. Damon Huard has a chance to be the Week 1 starter now or the veterans might revolt.
*Can Kolby Smith turn around a slow preseason?
Nope - three carries for six yards. Michael Bennett is Larry Johnson's handcuff.
* When is Dwayne Bowe playing? If he's not on the field with the first team now, he probably won't be in Week 1. The whole wideout rotation is worth monitoring.
Bowe made a nice play in the second quarter on a catch and run. He also dropped a pass inside the five-yard line late in the game. He's currently third at receiver, with Samie Parker starting. Jeff Webb has failed to emerge. I don't want any of them.
* Who starts at receiver for New Orleans? With Devery Henderson hurting and Robert Meachem disappointing, it's a free-for-all
David Patten and Terrance Copper started. Lance Moore was huge off the bench. This position is a mystery, but Patten and Moore had great games and appear to be emerging. Patten reportedly has an outside chance to start over Devery Henderson and is improbably back on the fantasy radar.
* Who starts at tight end for New Orleans? We've read Mark Campbell still has a shot.
Eric Johnson started again. He's a safe TE pick.

I think its clear Huard is the QB that best puts the Chiefs in a position to win.
I had him in my fantasy league last year and he performed quite well actually.
Hey Greg- I'm in a league where we start 2 QB's and a passing TD is worth 6 points. How high should QB's go in my draft? Any rankings/mock drafts I can look at based on my league settings?
