What's up with this "sudden" position battle between Ronnie Brown and Jesse Chatman? They each got a series with the starters in the third pre-season game, so it doesn't seem to be merely a motivational ploy. Is Chatman draftable, and how far does it knock Brown down? Besides injury risk, what do kick returning duties imply? Reggie Bush returned punts last year and it didn't seem to be a concern to anyone at the time anywhere near as much as folks are concerned about Brown returning kicks.

IMO - Ron Curry is going FAR too late in fatasy drafts. This guy has a chance to grab 80 for 1000 and 6-8 TD's - yet he is going WAY later than guys who will post comparable stats - in a PPR league Ron Curry is SERIOUSLY undervalued. I also think Calvin Johnson is being undervalued and not overvalued - All it is, is simple math, Detroit figures to throw 40+ times a week. Say there are 25 completions and simple math tells you Cal is gonna catch between 5-7 balls. Yes i have heard about his conditioning - thats alot of hooey. He is gonna be a 'special' player even as a rookie, and top 20 WR in PPR leagues. My sleeper another under valued guy - Santana Moss, this guy is gonna have a huge year - are people not noticing that J Campbell is worlds better than he was last year? Moss will benefit. One guy to avoid - Cedric Benson- this guy flat out stinks. No other way to put it. Horrid decision by the Bears to keep him over T Jones.

Not a question about a specific player, but something I've been wondering about -- why is the 3rd round reverse format not the industry standard?
It evens things out so much by minimizing some of the adsvantage of having LT or Stephen Jackson and then still getting a big advantage in the third round.

I missed out on my league's 12 team live draft. I ended up with decent RBs in Shaun Alexander, Brandon Jacobs, Lamont Jordan, and the semi-injured Kevin Jones. Receivers are Larry Fitz., Anquan Bolden, Hines Ward, Mike Furrey and Jacoby Jones. TE is Crumpler. QB is where I'm hurting; right now I've got Eli Manning and Jake Del Homme. I tried to trade Brandon Jacobs for Tom Brady straight up and the owner accepted but the league vetoed it saying it was lopsided to the other guys advantage.
Was it? Who the heck should I either offer in a trade or look for on the waiver wire?

I disagree on Benson. Their whole line hasn't played together all preseason and from what I saw last year, as long as he stays healthy he'll be a top RB2.
My question is about a RB3 vs. later WR1 vs. a QB. My draft is tomorrow and I have the 11th pick (ugh). I'll take 2 RBs with my first 2 picks. In the late third if someone along the lines of T.Jones, M. Bulger, McNabb and 4 or 5 lower WR1s (R. Williams, Colston, A. Johnson, Boldin, etc) were available, would it work out better to take the 3rd RB (we can start up to 3) and a WR1 on the turn, 2 of the WRs or the QB and either a WR or RB? This is the toughest spot in the draft for me.

Oh, and we get 6 pts per passing TD but I'm pretty sure I could get Romo or Rivers in the 5th/6th.

2 WR's - the value at WR is much greater at that point in the draft than what would be left at RB, if you could grab 2 solid WR's there you would be golden. I do NOT like grabbing a RB just for the sake of him being a RB.
