New Mock Analysis
The new column is up. These Mock Draft breakdowns take some time to put together, but always get the most hits. This draft was a points-per-reception league draft, although honestly it didn't appear to affect the draft slots that much. If you are looking for a guide on how your draft is going to look, this mock should be instructive.
We'll be back with an afternoon full of links and position battles after a quick break.

I agree with you on value of Peyton Manning in the second round. However I was thinking of selecting him as early as 5th. Here’s my reasoning. I was surprised to see Alexander go third. I really like Gore then Addai. I think Shaun Alexander will be boom or bust. I also think that with Westbrook’s injuries, and Henry’s issues that they’re no locks to be in the top 10 in fantasy scoring. However in a league which scores passing TD’s as 6, I think Manning’s value is much higher. I’m basing this on his ability to outscore all other QB’s and his consistency in doing it over the years.
My first round rankings look like this, LT, S. Jackson, LJ, Gore, Addai, Manning. I just don’t feel Parker belongs in this group and I have a bad gut feeling about Alexander. I know Alexander belongs and will be drafted in the top five and I know everyone out there is going to say ranking Manning that high is ludicrous I just wanted to see if anyone else was thinking of doing the same thing?
