Linked: Sunday morning missives

* Sleeper that may not be alert: Brandon Marshall's injuries are becoming a major problem. We're not going to adjust his optimistic ranking yet, but he needs to prove he's in shape and healthy sooner than later.
* Willis McGahee is diplaying an Ali-like confidence. Or it's insecurity from a player whose play better match up to all his talk this season. No more excuses.
* A nice breakdown from the Nashville Tennessean of where all the position battles stand. They think LenDale White will win the starting job and Chris Henry has a long way to go. I'm very close to upgrading White in our draft guide. And he's already much higher with us than his Average Draft Position.
Also Eric Moulds could be earning playing time early. Incidentally, the Tennessean consistently provides among the best team coverage in the country. Always worth checking out.
* LaDainian Tomlinson says the Chargers may may have looked past the Patriots last season. Which shows how immature they were if remotely true. One wonders if they can handle being a returning favorite this year.

I plan on getting White in every one of my leagues with the exception of one. (i'm in 8 total). The one the guy kept him as a keeper (in a 4 player keeper league no less) and won't trade him for anything reasonable

Looks like Javon Walker might face a lot of double teams this season.

It amazes me that people can and will do 8 leagues. It just shows the appetite for fantasy football. I believe that if mroe people went to more advanced auction drafts with salary caps ect. as we do in our league it would be much more satisfying to people. This whole concept of round by round seems like crawling everywhere when you already know how to walk. Find fantasy die hards and up the stakes. We have had our elague since 1989 and it continues to evolve. As it stands now i believe it is the most detailed and true to the game league in the country. Here is our leagues website. I am not selling anyhting just showing a better way.
