Interesting late picks

Round 11 starts with Joe Horn and Muhsin Muhammad. It looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't want to touch these guys this year.
Leinart, Roethlisberger, and Eli go in round 11. You can wait for your QB2, even in a league like this one that gives six points per touchdown.
Porter and Mike Furrey solid values in round 11. Anthony Gonzalez... I don't understand the fascination with a rookie third receiver.
Damn, Brandon Marshall taken one pick ahead of my in round 12, Maurice Stovall the same in round 13. Both were my sleepers lined up. Take the players you want.
Robert Meachem is a fun twelth round pick. Tab Perry is an odd one.
I take Lorenzo Booker in round 12, who was near the top of board even I didn't own Ronnie Brown.
First kicker goes at the end of the fourteenth - Vinatieri.
Some players that may undrafted because I'm down to just needing a kicker and defense: Patrick Crayton, Michael Pittman, Mark Bradley, Kolby Smith.
Thanks for stopping by today. I will write up this whole draft for a future column. I want to do another live Mock in the future, but tomorrow is out because I'm swamped here with the magazine.
My final team ... We start 3 WRs and a flex. It's PPR and with my team I'm probably starting four each week.
QB: Tony Romo, Eli Manning
RB: Joseph Addai, Ronnie Brown, LenDale White, Lorenzo Booker, DeDe Dorsey
WR: Anquan Boldin, Laveranues Coles, Jerricho Cotchery, Isaac Bruce, Ronald Curry, Wes Welker
TE: Antonio Gates
DEF: Raiders
K: Neil Rackers
Solid, unspectacular team. I like the receiver depth. Need a little juice and running back depth. The Romo pick is the only thing I'd do differently. It's definitely a PPR team, with a lot of players who have extra value in this format like Boldin, Cotchery, Coles, Brown, Bruce.
Gotta love a 90 minute, 16 round draft. ... And the Pizza is here. I can't believe I get paid for this.
Probably won't post again till Thursday, thanks for stopping by.

I don't like taking a WR3 from the same team as your WR2. You will never play both of them, especially if they are from my beloved Jets.
Romo/Manning is a decent but unspectacular QB duo
Nice job getting the handcuffs for your starting RB's, but having only LenDale as a fill in start is dangerous.
I like Curry where you got him but I feel Bruce is a wasted pick with Bennett and McMichael in St. Louis.
Raiders are one of the underrated Team Defense so good job there.
Overall, I'd give this team a C+

nothing wrong with taking 2 wr's from the same team imo. lots of passes to go around, and with t-jones pass blocking and keeping d's honest, jets might be able to go airborn alot this year. coles was a top 15 guys last year, right behind housh and ahead of plax. puttin him at #2 behind boldin is nice... might have 2 #1's there if it works out well.
cotchery wasn't too bad last year either. he needs to be a little bit more consistent, but it's ok cause he's only your 3rd.
i think the picks of addai and then coming right back with brown were great. both are going to have big years
not so sure about the gates pick... maybe a little early in my eyes? but you stuck to your gameplan...

I like Romo, I think you'll be good at QB with him as your #1. He was a top 6 guy in most leagues last year in scoring average per game played.
The running backs are good if LenDale comes through, which I think he will.
I personally don't care for the WR group. I think Boldin is overrated as I think they will run the ball more this year. IMO the Jets WR's are overated because Thomas Jones will cut into their production by catching more passes than the Jets RBs did last year. But Bruce and Curry are both undervalued in most leagues so at least your deep if unspectacular IMO.
Gates, well I dont really need to talk about him.
D and K don't matter all that much. I don't like the Raiders D because they will probably give up a fair amount of points after Jamarcus Russell stalled drives since rookie QBs usually look pretty pathetic.
Overall I'll give it a B.

Gregg I just finished reading your article on USAToday. Great job and congrats on getting married. I was just curious didn't anyone draft Kellen Winslow? I don't think I saw his name mentioned.
Keep up the great work!
