Power Rankings
There is electricity in my new apartment, we taped an episode of the baseball fix this morning, and all is right with the world. It's a quiet time in the NFL news cycle, with precious little information that comes out before the draft. So let's make up some meaningless but fun power rankings.
This is completely subjective of course, and I have a feeling quite a few of you will disagree. I'd love to rank the Patriots first, but don't want to seem too biased. So I'll put them second. Here goes ...
1. Chargers
2. Patriots
3. Colts
4. Bears
5. Eagles
6. Bengals
7. Ravens
8. Jaguars
9. Broncos
10. Steelers
11. Saints
12. Panthers
13. Jets
14. Cowboys
15. Giants
16. Seahawks
17. Titans
18. Falcons
19. Chiefs
20. Bills
21. Rams
22. 49ers
23. Packers
24. Texans
25. Bucs
26. Cardinals
27. Redskins
28. Dolphins
29. Vikings
30. Browns
31. Lions
32. Raiders

Comments
the bills have anthony thomas as a starting RB, peerless price as a 2WR, jp losman at QB, and robert royal as their TE. and they're ahead of 12 other teams? something is wrong with this picture. and the colts should be 1, not san diego, whose coach is norv turner. and how are the giants so high? coughlin is their coach and their offseason has been an embarrasment.

Why do you have the Saints at #11 when they made it all the way to the NFC Championship?? They havent lost and key members of the team (we went most of the season w/o Horn) personally I think the Jags, Steelers, Eagles, and Bears should be behind the Saints

Rams 21? I mean the best offense in the NFL, yes better than the colts of now and they are 21? Great Signing in Drew Bennett, 6'5'' receiver in the slot just what they needed for the red zone to go along wiht Holt and Bruce. They finally have a good TE in McMike, and they will most likely address the DT spot in the draft in Okoye or Branch. They will have a better run defense to go along with that great offense. Linehan is doing a great job. Oh yeah, they have a guy named Stephen Jackson. 21? c'mon guy.

Cowboys 14th!?! Are you kidding me!?!
Just kidding. Not terrible, but in the end, power ranking are fun for personal sakes, so you can see how right/wrong you were about certain teams. Lets see some more player rankings, unless your saving all the goods for the mag.

The Rams defense is one of the worst in the league until proven otherwise. The fact they play in the NFC West is a huge plus, but its hard to be a playoff team with that kind of defense.
As for the Saints, thats mostly about the balance of power - AFC vs. NFC.

Jets behind both the Jags and the Broncos? Fugghetaboutit, with Thomas Jones carrying the load, D'Brick with a year under his belt and a system in place this is the year we challenge the Pats and Colts for AFC supremecy!
