Tebucky Jones, the major motion picture
Seriously. Ice Cube has purchased the comedy project "Tough Love", and is attached to star in the lead role of ... Tebucky Jones. Or at least someone based on former Patriots/Saints/Dolphins/Patriots safety Tebucky Jones.
A few years back, Jones realized his kids were spoiled brats and forced them to spend their summer on the streets of Oakland, California where Jones grew up. Life Lessons and comedy inevitably ensued.
Perhaps this means our script for "The Hank Poteat Story: You can't cut me!" has a better chance of being optioned.

Actually he grew up in New Britain Connecitut, not Oakland. New Britain is pretty bad if you know the area, but, the mean streets of Oakland sounds more hollywood than the mean streets of Conneticut.

No New Britain Connecticut is not that bad if you know the area. There is alot of diversity in New Britain. The above comment comes from someone who lives in lets say Hartford, Connecticut.

one thing hollywood lacks is credability in its movies. New Britain has problems with poverty , gangs , unemployment , drugs , blight , a shrinking tax base , and a general lack of new life . So why not make the movie (or at least base it on ) New Britain , CT.? Take it from a life long resident , New Britain , CT. is just as diverse , tough and mean as Oakland or any other city in this country. So lets tell the story of New Britain's native son Tebucky Jones in New Britain , Connecticut. The real story is the best story.

uhm, i live in new britain, & yeah, it deff can be pretty rough, its definitely one of the rougher towns in CT. i attend the high school, & yes, it's kinda crazy. but he didn't make his son grow up in new britain, his son just recently moved to the high school, by his own decision
